Trends in location privacy: what has been achieved and where are we heading?
Dr. Lars Kulik, University of Melbourne, Australia
In this talk I will survey a few prominent computational approaches to location privacy, discuss whether or not people care about location privacy, report a few potential attacks to location privacy, and explore how to measure location privacy. I will also focus on recent trends in location privacy, in particular safeguarding location privacy in tracking applications and during the continuous access of location-based services. The talk will also introduce a couple of new ways to safeguard privacy such as negative data representations.
