Participation Requirements
Invited symposium participants are required to submit an article describing their research. Depending on the area of research or professional affiliation, it will be possible to contribute by way of a: (1) full-length article, (2) short opinion-piece, (3) case-study or report describing a design project, (d) review article describing a specific field, and its state-of-the-art.

In part, this contribution is also expected to be a scientific position ---research questions, methods, domain or case-study etc--- adopted by the participant. All conforming contributions will appear as a part of the online SFB/TR 8 Spatial Cognition Report Series.
Expression of Interest to Participate
Practitioners or researchers who are interested in participating, but have not received an invitation to participate, can submit an expression of interest. The expression of interest should include a brief overview of how one's research or professional interests fit into the symposium, and provide details on the expected contribution intended to be submitted for the symposium. Practitioners may want to include illustrations / cases from their portfolio.

All expressions of interest will be reviewed by the organising committees. Selected proposal will be expected to meet the contribution and other participation requirements as stated for the other invited participants.

Please submit all expressions of interest to participate via the online submission system (below) as one single PDF, or a zip file.
Invitations as Book Chapters
Select contributions that meet the symposium contribution, participation, and presentation requirements will be invited to submit a revised version for inclusion in an Edited Book that has been planned for the symposium.
